Tiani-Spirit
The Tiani-Spirit application provides the middleware, patient index, registry and compliance components for Electronic Health Network, Multiple Application Secured Health Information Network (MASH iNetwork) Platform. Running on a Cisco Application Extension Platform (AXP) module in an Integrated Services Router (ISR), secured by a Virtual Private Network (VPN) and Secured Socket Layer (SSL) with an integrated Firewall, the application only utilizes the required functions as needed based on your unique needs.
The application provides adapters to allow the connection to ONC Certified and Legacy Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Health Information Systems (HIS) that are not Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) compliant but comply with standards like DICOM or HL7. The adapters provide functionality for protocol conversion and implement various IHE Actors and Business Logic required to connect into an IHE-based interoperable environment.
In most cases, the software is transparent working in the background, reteiving and delivering Protected Health Information (PHI) using the healthcare provider's existing user interface. We also provide a web application physician portal for those healthcare providers without access to an EMR or HIS.
